Yes, I understand the german pronounciation, but we are talking Japanese, not German. Moreover, this person has heard the correct pronounciation from both me and another person, and after that missaid it. I wouldn't mind it so much, except for that little detail. And the fact that he knew it was Japanese and not German. Also, in German, if I remember correctly, sei is some tense of "to be" while the Japanese means "spirit" or "energy" or something such. Anyways, have a wonderous summer and all that, and miss me lots.

Yes, but in German, "sei" is pronounced "sigh", so "sigh-chan" would actually be a correct pronunciation of your name, if you were German. But I understand your annoyance, my name is Sievers, which is German, and people always call me "SIGH-vers", because they are unaware of the correct German pronunciation.

Thank you Brayn. And I didn't know the guestbook was down, but now that it's back I'll sign it again, and wish Desire a safe trip back to her homeland. I just hope she comes back soon, because without her I am nothing. Okay, that's not true, I've actually never met her, and my life would proceed at the same pace it always has, but I will still miss her. Oh, take pictures and show them to me when you get back. You say your country is beautiful, I should like to see it.
